I started working in IT 35 years ago, when mainframes took up the entire floor of buildings.

The first personal computers had 10MG of hard drive and we used modems to connect to the telephone lines, before the internet.

I have experience with DOS, Windows and Linux. I have worked in networking, specifically PC to mainframe. Thereafter I worked in PC support after attending a PC course.

I also worked and supervised a help desk. For 20 years I ran a desktop publishing and printing company. I was responsible for purchasing software and hardware, maintaining it and installing new hardware and software when needed. I also setup a website and electronic newsletter for the dtp business which led me into website design and hosting.

Over the years I have had experience with most operating systems, various types of printers, scanners and other devices. I have recently updated my pc skills by completing a Comp TIA A+ course through IT Academy.
